About the portal

What is the CMA Client Portal?

It’s a private, secure workspace where Coleman Management Advisors (CMA) and our clients share documents, message in real time, track engagements and deliverables, review proposals, handle invoices, schedule meetings, and watch KPIs — all in one place.

Do I need an account?

Yes. CMA invites you via email. The invite link gets you in directly the first time and lets you set a password for future sign-ins.

What if I lose my invite or my password?

Use the “Forgot password” link on the sign-in page, or email support@colemanma.com and we’ll send you a fresh link.

Data and privacy

Who can see my organization's data?

Only the people on the CMA team assigned to your engagement and the authorized contacts at your own organization. Access is enforced at the database level — other clients on the platform can’t see your information, even if a bug ever tried to request it.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. All traffic is encrypted in transit, and we use industry- standard storage providers (Supabase / Vercel) for at-rest protection. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Do you sell my data?

No. Ever. We only share information with the service providers that help us run the portal (database, hosting, email, accounting). See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. Contact your CMA advisor or email privacy@colemanma.com for an export or deletion request.

Billing

How does billing work?

Invoices are generated based on your engagement letter (retainer, project, or time-and-materials) and sent through QuickBooks Online. You can pay online via the link in the invoice email or inside the portal.

Where do I see my invoices?

Sign in and go to Invoices. You’ll see every invoice, its status, and a download link.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card and ACH through QuickBooks. For larger engagements we can also accept wire — ask your advisor for instructions.

E-signatures

Are e-signatures legally binding?

In most U.S. jurisdictions, e-signatures are valid for ordinary commercial agreements under the E-SIGN Act and state UETA laws. Specific requirements vary by document type and jurisdiction — consult an attorney for guidance on anything sensitive. See our Disclaimer.

Do I need a separate e-signature account to sign?

No. Signing happens entirely inside the CMA portal. We email you a secure link, you draw or type your signature, and you’re done — no third-party signup required.

Where can I find my signed agreements?

Sign in and go to Signatures. Every document you’ve been asked to sign — pending, completed, declined — lives there.

Engagements

What does CMA actually do?

We’re a management consulting firm. Our work spans strategy, operations, growth, finance, and execution support for founders and operators. We meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.

How do I end an engagement?

Talk to your CMA advisor. Termination terms are in your signed engagement letter or SOW — typically 30 days’ written notice unless otherwise specified.

Can I message my advisor through the portal?

Yes — head to Messages. Your advisor (and anyone CMA has assigned to your account) sees those messages in real time.

Support

How do I report a bug or a feature request?

Email support@colemanma.com with a short description and a screenshot if you have one. We triage same-day during business hours.

What if something feels off about a sign-in attempt?

If you receive an unexpected sign-in email or password reset, do not click it. Forward it to security@colemanma.com and we’ll investigate.
